Sausage and Broccoli | Asian Inspired recipe

So who doesn't like Chinese food??? Although after I eat it, that's another story. I feel bloated, sleepy and start to swell throughout the next day. As you get older your system can not break down things as well unless you are running iron mans and tough mudders on the weekend. So what to do? Well why not change it up!!

This recipe is Beef and Broccoli inspired and can be substituted with both shrimp, tofu and chicken. I just happened to have HEB sausage lying around and needed to use it so we did!

Here's what you need:

Agave Raw
Annies Natural Shitake Sesame Vinagrette
Sea Salt
Pepper
Olive Oil
Garlic cloves
Broccoli
Sausage or meat source
Brown Rice

ADDED TIP!!!

Invest in a rice cooker! They can be pricey but cook your rice to perfection friends.

Here's what you do:

Chop your garlic up and put in skillet with a bit of olive oil
Then you will brown it and add broccoli
Add 5 tbsp of Annies
Add 2 healthy tbsp of Agave

Stir, mix and sauté until broccoli softens
Then add meat
Stir mix and sauté

Serve on Brown Rice!!!

Here's what happened!!!

Impressive!!!  3 bowls of broccoli in! These are small kid plates and portioned appropriately. =)
